They still hold services sometimes in this Ghost Town church in Terlingua. This is just 10 minutes from RoadRunner Travelers RV Park. You can even see the Chisos in the National park in the background.
In Terlingua, just three miles from RoadRunner Travelers RV park you’ll find the Frank Tolbert International Chili cookoff. This typically happens the first weekend in November.
In the Terlingua you can climb in the mine shaft elevator…you can even see the Chisos from Big Bend National Park in the background.
Make sure to check out the Chisos views from the Starlight Theater in Terlingua Texas.
This is at Villa de la Mina in Terlingua. It’s on private property now, but it used to be t he site of the International Chili Cookoff.
In the Terlingua Ghost town just down the road from RoadRunner Travelers rv park you’ll find all kinds of photo opportunities.
You can pick up a map in the Trading Post in Terlingua that will show you the walking path and tell you what everything is.
Out in Terlingua you can find good views anywhere.
Don’t forget to look all around you, sunsets here are 360 degrees.

Walk around the Terlingua Ghost town and you’ll see this little canyon over near the mine shaft and elevator.
There are several mines all around Terlingua, this one is Villa de la Mina, this is on private property and not accessible to the general public.
Ruins all over, and some of them have even been restored. This is just 10 minutes from RoadRunner Travelers RV Park.

Terlingua is full of old ruins all around, even in the Study Butte area.
Take a drive up South County road in Terlingua Texas and you’ll spot Hen Egg Mountain.
